A quick watercolour sketch of this little guy. He was my Mom’s childhood teddy. I’ve had him for as long as I can remember. He’s around 50 years old.
He has aged well.
I’m attempting to try get into the rhythm of paining looser watercolours regularly.
300g watercolour paper, Windsor and Newton watercolours.
I love this! You are brilliant!
I am enjoying this on a few different levels. It has a sweet loved factor, one of history and growth. To me, it also has this dark overtone that hints at a creepy factor as to ask: What has the bear seen.
Beautiful work. Inspiring.

Awww! Thanks a lot. This little guy must have some stories to tell, if only he could tell them 😉

The guy looks nearly as young as me, and your water color looks fabulous as always.

Beautiful! The wet into wet use of color is great. Like your choice for the background, the contrast makes your teddy stand out, makes me think of it being a protector from unwanted shadowy dreams. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks a lot 🙂
I enjoyed painting it. Probably because it has a lot of history. I also got some new paint colors and brushes. Ah, bliss.
