It’s my baby’s birthday. Not the one who is teething. Not the furry one either. The other one.
It’s Jay’s Birthday. The other half. The other tall skinny half. He likes him some Astronomy.
This painting was quite the battle, with no definite lines or structure and a kaleidoscope of colour threatening to create mud. I battled on.
The 4th hour wasn’t looking too promising but the 5th offered some light, of the star variety. (Thank heavens because I couldn’t think of anything else to give him.)
14cm x 24 cm. Windsor and Newton watercolours on 300g watercolour paper.
This is gorgeous! What a perfect gift! And Happy Birthday, Jay!
